The United States Armed Forces are by far the most advanced, professional fighting force on the planet. Our federal government’s primary responsibility is to ensure our warriors are adequately trained, equipped, and supplied for its mission to protect America’s citizens from enemies, both foreign and domestic. It is also responsible for ensuring the well-being of veterans and their families. To date, it has failed in its responsibilities to our veterans and their families. American citizens have stepped up where our government has not. It is time for us to demand our government accept its responsibility and directly address the needs of our warriors, veterans and their families.
